Netflix Adds O. J. Simpson Documentary Series Following Death

The American football star turned actor OJ Simpson was announced to have died this week at the age of 76.
The controversial figure was the subject of a murder trial in which he was cleared of double murder.

Netflix in the US has licensed the famous 30 for 30 ABC/ESPN documentary series for two years.
It is important to note at this stage, the documentary series, titled 30 for 30: O.J.: Made in America, was only added to Netflix in the United States as of April 13th, 2024.
The addition comes after Netflix has been slowly rebuilding its 30 for 30 documentary library following its complete departure in January 2017.
The news of 30 for 30, ESPN’s signature documentary series brand, returning to Netflix came back in December 2023 with a new deal bringing Disney-owned titles to Netflix in the US. Since then, we’ve seen two batches of titles arrive so far.
A bunch were added in February and mo
